Steps to Get Duplicate e-Aadhaar Card Online

To obtain a duplicate e-Aadhaar card online, you need to follow the steps below:

Step 1: You need to visit the official website of UIDAI.

Step 2: Select the ‘Aadhaar Number (UID)’ or Enrollment Number (EID)’ option

Step 3: You can input basic information like the name, email address and the mobile number registered with your enrollment number.

Step 4: Enter the security code that appears on this screen.

Step 5: Enter your TOTP by clicking on the ‘Enter TOTP’ button or clicking ‘Send OTP’.

Step 6: A one-time password will be sent to your registered email address or phone number. Click ‘Login’ after entering the OTP

Step 7: Once you have entered the OTP successfully, your Aadhaar Number will be sent to the registered email address or mobile number you have provided.

Step 8: The confirmation regarding the same will appear on your computer screen as a result of 7 steps noted above. 

After you have obtained your Aadhaar number or enrollment ID, you can create a duplicate Aadhaar by visiting the UIDAI portal.

How to Create an Aadhaar Card Reprint?

Step 1: Go to UIDAI’s official website and choose the option “Order Aadhaar Reprint”

Step 1: Go to https://resident.uidai.gov.in/check-reprint-status

Step 2: You need to enter your 28-digit SRN (Service Request number) and UID, then click on ‘Submit’
